Railing for the garden –
assembly without welding
Guardrails and handrails are always needed in the garden. Plant troughs can also be provided with railings in the terrace and balcony area for enclosure. In case of fall heights above 1.0 m, DIN 18065 (stairs and railings) and the State Building Code (LBO) require the installation of a guardrail. This also applies to raised beds from a height of 90 cm which serve as fall protection.
For many years we have been supplying pluggable stainless steel railing elements with round posts, system BUNIA, which can be easily and uncomplicatedly installed in the private sector – mostly without welding. The LAVAL system has been developed for the public sector and the associated higher requirements for stability and rigidity. Typical surfaces of the posts are corten steel or stainless steel. In all cases, the handrail is made of polished stainless steel.
Railing BUNIA –
with posts made of stainless steel
The stainless steel railing type BUNIA is designed for use in private gardens. Both the handrail and the posts are constructed from Rotex-ground round material with a diameter of ø40 mm. This makes the railing look very elegant. The standard height of the handrail is 90 cm.
BUNIA can be supplemented with various elements such as crossbars or perforated sheet and glass infill panels to create an individually matching railing and thus also serve as a privacy screen, for example on balconies. When mounting e.g. on TERRESTA planters, the fall protection can be elegantly detached.
The round posts are screwed to a stable base. The distance between the posts should be approx. 1.0 m to max. 1.2 m so that stability does not get affected. A big bonus of this system: all elements are plug-in. Therefore the assembly is possible for everyone – without welding.

Special element
with railing
Here, a bridge element was secured against falling with the LAVAL railing. The stainless steel round handrail is modelled on the curve of the Corten steel bridge arch and thus has a very elegant appearance. The posts are bolted to the bridge arch with front attachment.
